About Me
Samantha Joelle Solar is a Philly based actor who performs both musical and non-musical theatre, comedy, and character work.
Besides theatre, Sam is also a member of The Bible Blayers, a traveling improv troup that educates kids about Jewish holidays and values through quirky skits and improv games. She also plays an original character named "Phyllis from Philly", a sassy, fun-loving boomer with a thick Philly dialect, jewish guilt, and a lot of love.
Before she caught the theatre bug, Sam's first love was drawing and painting. (You can check out some of her work in the Photo Gallery tab!)
When Sam isn't at rehearsal, she is enjoying craft beer, training for a race with her husband, and supporting friends in their shows.
Fun Fact: When Sam was in sixth grade, she was on the Philadelphia 76er's Jr. Dance Team!
